I am curious, how long with your e-caller run on a charge and what kind of caller is it? One of the principal reasons I have stuck with the J/S cassette callers is their long battery life and rechargable sealed lead acid battery system. Although the SLA battery is the majority of the unit's weight, it p...

Yesterday was our last day of our 2012-2013 crow season. We had no real game plan but just had to go. We decided to just do some leisure Run-N-Gun with no direction in mind just see em in the field and try to hunt em. It was a little windy so getting up wind was a problem at times. We were not very successfu...

Well, after poachers running round on a quad last night, and leaving some gates open, whereupon sheep got out again, the farmer has said next time hold Henk, block the lane, call plod, and have them done for armed trespass. That means they will lose their FAC, their guns, their quad, and will probably b...

So, as you all know I finally (after much trial and tribulation) managed to get my Primos Alpha Dogg from the states, and used it Wednesday night foxing for its premier. it did the job well, and we saw about 10 foxes, but they wouldn't commit to an area of safe shooting, and those that did a battery connect...

Wednesday Feb. 20th is a day I will remember for a long time.. As we all get older and our kids grow up and go their own ways, especially those who move out of town it is a specail time when we have a chance to reunite with them and for me it is to hunt with my son. That chance was yesterday! What a great day to be...

Our season is coming to a close so I have been trying to squeeze in a few extra hunts. Friday was kinda special for me, I got to take my son-in-law that only gets to go with me once a year. I had one other A-Team member join us for what turned out to be a super day for three guys. We had no game plan, so we just hea...

So, this morning, decided to order a Primos Alpha Dogg electronic caller from the states via eBay. So I checked my purchase history, nothing there, so did it again...

Boy what a hard hunt. Last Saturday we had an invitation to hunt the same farm as two weeks ago but this time the wind was blowing 25mph and our hide was all wrong. The farmer said the birds were back in there in good numbers but with Mr. Wind was in full command. We went for it anyway and only managed to ki...

The A-Team gathers at our local meeting place for our 5th hunt together of the season. This was to be a special event for us.
