Thought I'd throw up a few pictures of the muddiest day I've ever hunted crows..and the shooting wasn't even that great...but the 4x4 was. The war wagon had so much mud on it's tires that I had to stop and dig out the wheel wells.. there was clay from the tire all the way to the top of the well.

I can see your dedicated to crow shooting, as a lot of people would just turn round and head home when the condtions are as bad as that, i can get to a lot of my crow hunting spots fairly easy as they have tracks all round the hog pens its only when snow and a lot of bad weather i have to hump everything to my chosen spot.

North Texas seems to always have enough weather during the winter to keep the ground wet all season long, so if I waited for the ground to dry out I'd never hunt.

About a normal summer here. Last year, this year, its done nothing but rain. Bring on the winter and hopefully strong frosts.
