One tough month to wait! But finally it has arrived in the post via Arizona and another station...! The Suckerpunch raffle call. And let me tell you, this call is precisely what I hoped it would be!! As if it had been truly custom made to my specifications! A true sweettalker! Much lower in tone than expected (american call are ofen higher oitched tha the european counterparts), not too loud and easy to handle! This will raise some eyebrows with my friends! My sincere thanks to SuckerCrow. I can not wait to put it to the ultimate test! __________________

If you weren't in norn iron, I could even let you test it...
But put it this way, I had to tune all my calls, this one worked very well out of the box!
It made my beloved haydel obsolete - that's high praise!!!

Z... thanks so much for the kind words.. I can't wait to hear how those German crows respond.... I hope this sheds a little light on why I don't like putting up videos as examples to how my calls sound.. they just don't do the call justice.


I know you expressed interest in the Sucker Punch "Micro"... it sounds very much like the call you have.. but a little higher pitched.. I can make the call a tad longer in the mouthpiece to drop the pitch... I will let you all know when I get a fresh supply of mouthpieces...

So: Yesterday and today I had the chance to field test my new call in Ireland.

Unfortunately I did not have all my gear with me, so it was run and gun along hedgerows. But that Suckerpunch call makes me more confident every time I use it.

Nearly all crows that I had seen in a reasonable distance turned and had a look. If I had not been limited by the choice of ammo and the chokes available it would have been a real bad day for lots of crows...this way I connected with two in spots that were well camouflaged.
(And missed a few...)

I am truly happy with my win! Thanks again!

My next report will hopefully be about a serious outing with all my gear and smoking barrel ;)
