got down to one of the hog farms i shoot on, and after a bit of rain it cleared out in to a nice sunny day, made my hide up in one of the empty pens, and it started out pretty good with quite a few 'customers' dropping in, had several skiens of geese pass overhead thu the day, as they have now come down from the north as Iceland and other Northern countrys are getting colder, saw quite a few Jays but all way to far out of range for a shot, apparently there is a shortage of acorns and other nuts in europe and a lot of Jays have crossed the north sea to find food, so that accounts for the huge number of jays being sighted in england along the eastern and southern coasts, also had a nice flock of crows riding the thermals along with the gulls, took a pic but they were a long way from my hide, picked up 28 crows at the end, and had two drop in to a pen of young sows and there wasent much left of them to pick up LOL .
