heard a lot about people using stuffed fox or a owl to try and lure crows in so finally tried a stuffed fox, it was in the spring time must admit i had a lot of crows come in to the surronding trees and mob the fox, but they stayed well out of range, and only managed to shoot a few, but will have to try the owl and see if it works better.
That is one sneaky looking decoy... I have been throwing around the idea of making crow "stuffers".
I have a couple owls I use to use... I find that anything other then a crow type decoy is a waste of energy toting it around and setting it out.. but on occasion, when I get a wild hair, I like to play around with different decoy strategy. I will take a couple pics of what I call my "eOwl"...and my "hook owl" to give you some ideas.
