the soldier is the son of a sportboat captain... when I worked on the boats I helped teach him how to work deck...

Most I've heard so far is, he was hit by an I.E.D.

I'm not the praying type, but if you are please pray for an old friend of mine.. he was severely wounded fighting in Kandahar, Afghanistan.. He is in critical condition and is too unstable to bring home as of yet... he is being treated in Germany right now.. His mother said he needs a miracle...

So if you pray, or just want to send positive thoughts he needs them... I know there are many other soldiers in the same situation, and have died for our country, but when it hits home it's my turn to worry and ask for help.

There is not a day that goes by that I do not prey for those guys.  We have Cherry Point Marine base right here in our town and Camp Lejuene Marine base 30 minutes away.  In my lifetime I have come in contact with thousands of Marines through my church, work, social events, committee's and friends.  God Bless them ALL!

Here is a link to Chris's story... I was initially told he was hit by an IED.. when what really happened is.. he was shot with an RPG...
