I have to be the only crow hunter in history to have been pulled out of the woods from a run and gun stand to answer to a Highway Patrolman.  True story:  The A-Team was in a county that we were not familar with the local highway laws and we had spotted a flock of crows feeding in a nearby field that we could pull off the highway and get down wind of them for some sporty shooting.  We went in the woods after parking the my truck and about 5 minutes into the calling and killing I heard a loud speaker saying "Come out now", at first we did not think it was for us so we kept shooting and about that time we heard the siren of the all familar patrol car.  We come out in total shock, with blue lights flashing and the "man" standing by my truck.  After a long conversation he informed me that I was parked with two wheels on the pavement and two wheels off, which was against their county ordinace.  After the shock of us coming out of the woods with shotguns waving all around him and some fast talking about what we were doing and explaining to him that we live in another county he softened up and told me to have a nice day without a ticket thank God.  It gets better, he drives off as we do and as we are driving down the road about a mile we see him coming back towards us.  He is flashing his lights for me to stop.  We did of course and he rolls his window down and says, "hey guys I just saw a flock of crows fly across the road "Go shoot em", and we did with proper parking etiquette.  What appeared to be a bad day turned out to be a memory to behold.
