Looks like a great set up. I take it the gun fire does not frighten the livestock? Are you in Great Britain? Corn fields are in short supply where I live, dairy farming has all but died out. The patriarch of the last operational dairy farm died in the last couple of weeks making me think it's only a matter of time before all the corn fields are gone.

hello mate, yes im in the UK, and ive got plenty of hog farms to shoot on, and they dont worry in the slightest about the noise, they dont take any notice of the dog as well, one thing is if you shoot a crow and it falls in the hog pen before they have fed the pigs, its a race to get to pick the crow up before it gets eaten by the pigs LOL as you can see in the picture, im very lucky as i shoot over a variety of crops as well as pig farms, in the spring i shoot on fresh sown barley, and maize, then on to laid wheat, and when the barley and corn are cut i shoot on the stubble fields then on cut maize, in between i try and keep the crow numbers down on the pig farms, we are very lucky as we have 3 types of 'crows' to shoot, jackdaws, rooks, and carrion crows.

also when i have my crow decoys out i put a old stuffed magpie out on its own and somtimes i get lucky and bag a magpie as well
