Wednesday Feb. 20th is a day I will remember for a long time.. As we all get older and our kids grow up and go their own ways, especially those who move out of town it is a specail time when we have a chance to reunite with them and for me it is to hunt with my son. That chance was yesterday! What a great day to be in the crow woods in my area. Sunny, 48F light winds. My son had off from work and was home for a visit and we scheduled a crow hunt with one of the A-Team members and his friend which had recently gotten permission to hunt a field that we have not been allowed to hunt until now. This field was loaded with fresh crows. What was good about this hunt was we did not get to the field until 8:00. The other good news was we did not move from the same spot until 3:00. The birds flew all day and they died all day. I am not very good with taking pictures but my son did manage to take a few with his cell phone of some that we gathered up in the woods for a photo op. Check em out, it looks like black carpet in the woods. TBC for the day was 162. A small note: Our individual totals, 43,41,40,38. That's the way to do it for sure.
