smile A week from now we will out on the Kansas prairie shootin song dogs!!! Life is good, I'm glad I have an understanding wife. Can hardly wait, I hope we have a good hunt. My partner Matt and I are hoping to connect on 10-20 this trip. But just being able to go hunting with my best friend (brother-in-law) is fun. I'm glad to have a hunting partner who just loves to hunt together whether we get anything or not.w00t.gif

No guide, we have been out there 3 times so far. We hunt private and public land. Last time we got two and Matt missed 8. When we got home he found a bad scope mount @#$#. That will never happen again. I'm taking a backup rifle just incase.

You are so right with your statement.  Having a best friend that loves to (hunt) instead of (kill) is priceless. I hope you both have a great time.

Gary is so right.. I've seen lots of killers in my day.. not near as many willing to put in the time... which is one of the reasons I refuse to spoon feed people "How To" information.

W.E.F. sounds like a lot of fun.. I've always loved hunting/road trips.
