since you seem to enjoy pictures from abroad I thought I'll post some.
A friendly irish lad who was inspecting me (and trying to eat my jacket...) as I was walking in his field.......
The first crow of the holiday in my Father in law's backgarden in Ireland (County Meath).
My first ever Magpie, called in with the amazing MID call from Sam Newt (Belgium).
My setup along a tiny river - about 15 K from Rothenburg ob der Tauber (some of you might know that place...). The crows did not come in that day and hovered over the decoys.
When shot, they were blown across the stream... Result: 1 Magpie, 3 Crows.
A kick Ass spot for sentinels. 5 came into our decoys - all stayed! I could kick myself for not taking more pics there... We used 60 decoys, spread out in an L shape sloping around that spot. Sweet view into the valley. Unfortunately the flight path was not existant that morning so we had to call in stragglers from the village to our right....
My first rabbit with a shotgun (Ireland).
Now compare it to the big one I got afterwards! I have shot smaller hares than THAT!!
Z.. love the pics man... feel free to share as much as you want...
I can't believe no one commented on the PIPE!!!.. that's awesome...
Yeah, I'm a bit disappointed myself. Homemade lanyard, crow call and all! ;)

Can you take a few closer pics of your lanyard for me.. I also make my own and I like looking at how other people choose to braid the cord and hang the calls.. Does your lanyard pull double duty? I ask because you have doubles attachments for each call.
Double duty? I have two strings per call to stop 'em dangling... I'll post a pic once I am back at the computer (Sunday).
I thought since your lanyard had so many double loops, you also used it for waterfowl season. I can see why you have them.. all your calls have the lanyard groove too far toward the top of the call.. I also like my calls to lay horizontal and all my calls are hung on my lanyard so the barrel opening points to the right. (I'm right handed)
Zeddicus, i have had a great holiday in Ireland sea fishing, and would love to be able to get a shooting holiday in, did you see any hooded crows while over there as thats one crow id love to add to my corvid list, ive got a stuffed rook, crow, and jackdaw and would love to get a hooded crow to finish the case off, and liked your decoy and crow sentinal set up, ive noticed a lot of difference in my crows shoots since putting a couple of decoys up high in the lay out, cheers.

Hi corvid,
Yeah, I've seen some but few. Most of them are huge murders of greycrows and jackdaws which can be shot in ireland.
Ravens, jackdaws and greys are protected in germany...
The sentinels are very important. They suggest safety and also are very visible thus steering them to the decoys! ;)
