Nice job all around, congrats Markus! Video work and editing is stellar. I know the camera distorts things but to me it looks like the shooter was struggling with high birds due to tall trees and a very narrow opening to see and shoot them. Always a good idea to set up in low spots, staying well concealed via a blind and give as much room as possible to see incoming birds and take shots, but you probably already knew that. Look forward to seeing more vids.

Arnold I enjoyed the video... I would have liked to see them smash through the canopy like you were hoping for... I've only witnessed it once myself... crashing through branches with reckless abandon, it's amazing how agile a crow can be when it wants to..... and I do like the "key hole" shooting as well, all be it... harder on a newb then the edge of a tree line....

I'm not sure if you guys have had a chance to do more shooting together...but may I recommend reminding Markus to keep the gun nice and tight against his cheek... I think he got crow fever and was watching more then pointing/aiming te gun.

I got a good chuckle during carcass recovery... all I kept thinking was... MY GOD MAN.....THAT'S POISON IVY!!!

Keep those videos coming... smile

Thanks nh, it was a blast. Your right about the camera, those tree's were not actually that tall. We were actually driving to a different spot on some state managed land when two crows flew across the road in front of the truck. We found the first parking spot we could, got into some shadows with a little overhead cover and our backs to the sun. Got it all set up and hit the caller, should have killed ten birds. When I don't have a designated camera person, witch is a lot of the time, I like to find a small hole in the canopy like that to concentrate where the birds come through to look for that fight so we can get them on camera. The most important thing for me is that I passed on to another person my love for the outdoors. Hopefully someone will do the same thing when they see the video.

I have to agree with the guys.  It was very well done.  Even though I have killed thousands of crows and the A-Team together have killed close to 20 thousand we have only tried to video once.  Did not turn out that well.  It is hard to video any type of bird hunts.  My hats of to you.  Keep up the nice work.
