Fellow crow hunters I recieved a package on Thursday. Inside was a beautiful hand-crafted Sucker Punch crow call. It is stunning, that is all I can say about the appearance. So now on to the sound quality. First it is loud or soft depending on how you want it to work. I took it along Saturday morning when goose hunting and had crows circling us. Then sunday morning I took it on a crow hunt. To say the least the crows liked the sound, we killed 8 and they were educated birds but I was able to coax some into gun range. The sound seems like a cross between a Gibson and a Mincey so it is best of both worlds. Great sound and it looks like a custom call.

Hey Watch Em... thanks for kind words, I'm very glad you like the call. I don't own a Gibson, or Mincey call... and I've only heard a Gibson "gut set" the way I tune it... so I will have to take your word... I have a couple other calls in the works that I will be sending you to test.

Ed.. I've got you on the list.... I'll send the call with a bass rod I snapped in half last week.. you can fix that .....right? lol

You still fly fish for pannies? I built a set of 4 pc. 3 wt. fly rods with aluminum seats and titanium guides that the stream trout guys up here drool over. I should send one to you.

 

Just send me the tip end of the bass rod, I'll make it an ice fishing rod. lol

 

If the people that live behind me foreclose like they say they are, I'm going to have more land to access for hunting. Always turkeys, doves, crows, deer, geese, ducks back there. I need a stealthy side arm to keep a low profile though...

 Yeah man I love catching slab bluegill on my 5wt... 3 would be awesome...

Dude I need to visit... I have everything we need to kill ALL that stuff... if you are looking for something that would fit in a back pack...don't forget about the sling bow (check hunting regs first).... I'm going to build one this winter for stalking pigs on my dove lease ... buy a $10 wrist rocket and a $20 whisker biscuit from wally world then order a replacement band for a pole spear online.... zip tie the whisker biscuit between the two arms... throw the wrist rocket band in the trash and replace with a piece of the pole spear band.... carry a quiver on the side of your back pack... BAM... dinner is served.
