The light is one of my old dive lights. It's made by a company called Under Water Kinetics... Basically I have high powered magnets on the gun... and those magnets grab a hold of the flashlight batteries... when I'm done with it I just yank it off and put it away
you can rate every post ever made on this site.... there are stars in the upper right corner of the post... 1-5 I believe.... it takes 5 people to rate a post before it will show up... this eliminates the possiblility of one guy giving every post a 5 or a 1 just "because"..
Sidenote: thank you... I enjoy shooting it...it's not worth a crap out in the "real world" of hunting...it's way too underpowered... and it's a pump...but that;s why I love it so much for fenced in backyard hunting.
Splash; thats a crosman 1377 right ? Where did You get that stock, it looks great. I have that pistol, but I can't hit a barn with a handgun, that stock would definitely help. Jerry

Yes it is... if you are going to add a scope you need to upgade the plastic breech to a steel one... there is no rail on the plastic breech.
The stock was purchased from Basspro... but around here they are even in Walmart...
Thx Splash, I'll check out the site. I've seen some laminated stocks for them pretty nice. I can't shoot the dam thing ( I really, really suck with a handgun) but I'd like to pretty it up. Jerry ps; nice job keeping the site going, I'm sure it's gona take off.
I have a Gamo Big Cat 1200, gets them squirrels at 40 yds! I use it for pest control around the house but in the woods i just bring a .22 for squirrels haha
Velcrow, I also would rather shoot them with a 22 & do most of the time, but behind my house while there's a fairly large area of woods, I can't shoot the 22's. I'm hot for the Savage mk II bsev, check it out it's really nice. I've shot one & they really shoot with the accu trigger.
Nice. This year I'm probably gonna try squirrel, supposedly its pretty good. My boss and a couple of guys in town eat em, even though we barely have any gray squirrels around. I guess red squirrel tastes the same you just need to shoot more of them haha.

They are quite gamey... soaking them in a salt brine or buttermilk for a day or two will help mellow the taste.... crock-pot squirrel chili is a good way to go..

I have a savage 12FV in 223 .... I really like the accu trigger... I swear the trigger is set at a pound and a half...
My .22 is an old remington field master... I love that there is absolutely no movement in the gun....((like the 10/22)) and the pump shoots everthing... I've started using CBee Sub-Sonics to shoot crippled crows.
Nice! .22s are so fun to shoot. Could shoot .22 all day every day and never get bored...almost haha. Thanks for the info i'll try that. Any special way to field dress them?
When I was a teenager I had a ****er spaniel and fiest mixed and that joker would flat out tree a squirrel. I killed over a hundered each season and sold the tails to the Purina Dog Food Company for $.10 a piece. The best way to skin a squirrel that I have found is to cut a slit across his shoulder blades and hook the slit in your sink faucet and hook your fingers in the opposite slit towards the tail and simply pull the hide and this will remove the hide all the way to his toe nails. Cut his feet off and gut him and he is ready to soak.
By the way has anyone tried shooting them with the HMR 17. Great way to remove their heads befor cleaning.
