The A-Team just gets better and better with age. I use to ask one of my managers at work how things were going in his department and he always replied "like a well oiled machine". This is what the A-Team is all about. Put us in crows and we will produce! I am proud to say these guys are my close friends and I look forward to our next season togeher with enthusiasm. This year was our biggest year since keeping records with a grand total of 2,654 confirmed kills.
that's awesome Gary... and I would have to say...and have said... you guys are a tight group, and conduct yourselves in a professional, humble manner, and show sportsmanship I have yet to see out of a crow hunter or group that has high numbers such as yours..
With that said...you guys just barely beat me this year... I'm sure if I was to go out one more time I could catch you... you guys only beat me by 2,634.
I guess it's time to start posting fishing reports... I'm getting back on the crow call wagon and will have some neat things showing up soon...
I'm also gonna finish off the open reed preditor calls I have then do free entry raffles for them...
I had all LAST summer too... I am now motivated by selfish reasons I suppose...
Our puppy ate my prototype and a Gibson (with an old style Lohman wood mouth piece). I piled my stuff by the front door and set my calls down for a few short minutes...

Wow, that alot of crows!!, my buddy and i killed about 1800 or so. best year for us too, looking to beat that this season. 10 ga
Hey 10 ga., We have had some seasons where we would have loved to get 1800. Our weather was seasonably warm here, so I can not figure out why there were more crows here. Usually colder weather produces better. Last springs weather must have been mild during nesting for a good hatch. Other people have reported good numbers this year as well. Next year will probably be the see-saw year and below norm. We'll see?
Gary, I think our 1800 is impressive given we essentially have only 4 distinct and separate farm/places to hunt (multiple blinds in each location). The old 19th century 10 bores dump a lot of high educated birds
Gary I definitely think you guys "Roll a 6 the HARD WAY".... one of your crows has to be worth 2 of a flyway or feed stand... what do you guys eat for breakfast? I think after one day of 30+ RNG stands I would drop dead.
Our 30 plus stands a day is not for the weak or timid, but it works for us. Ask Gadget Bob about it. Took him one weekend and at the end of the day I found his a-- under the front seat of my truck. He was a good sport and now has a story to tell.
