After getting home Friday afternoon I was beat to say the least.  A two hour round trip drive and a hard day of hunting.  About 7:00 the phone rings and its one of my other A-Team partners.  He said how about in the morning and I said "WHAT".  Coming off my cold it would be tough.  He said we have to because it is a fair weather day and we have only a few weeks left in the season.  I am all about shooting crows, so I said be here at 7:00 am. We really did not have a good spot to go to so we thought we would run and gun some.  First two stops produced one bird each, wow I thought this all day "NOT".  We finally saw some birds in a recently logged 300 acre track about 10:00.  We found a place to try em and lord a behold we ended up killing 23 birds here.  Fresh birds kept coming into this cutover so we made a good hour out of it.  Our next stop was a hog operation where they spray the hog lagoon waste over their fields and we spotted a flock picking at recently sprayed waste.  The entire farm is surrounded by thick short pines so the hide was automatic.  We made a two hour stand here and managed to weed out of the flock 41 birds.  By this time I am dead on my feet and trying to head home.  On the way home I said to my buddy, "let's ride back by the old logged out field and see if the birds may come back to grub around before they go to roost".  Wouldn't you know it, they were filtering in there two and three at the time.  We set up in the same place we did that morning and wacked 30 more birds and home by 5:00.  96 and 196 back to back, not a bad two day TBC.
